So, I have this new method for learning foreign language vocab, and I’m finally testing it out. My original idea was to cut out pictures from newspapers/magazines/et cetera and label them in the foreign language, but in conjunction with my new effort to improve the drawing skills I have neglected for a dozen years, I’m drawing the vocab words instead. It’s even more conducive to retaining the words, but oh boy do I need to improve these skills. I absolutely can’t draw second eyes. I quickly sketched some items for Zulu the other day, and  I ended up putting eye patches on both “ubaba” (father) and “inkunzi” (bull) to save myself the trouble.
